So glad to read 2 entries in one week!    You always sound so upbeat!  Why do those husbands of ours have to be so gloomy.  I told John the other night to knock his attitude off.  His boss has been riding him lately.   I'll dicuss the issue, but don't bring me down.  

Maybe you can post some pics of the "new" place sometime soon.  

I can't wait to go home next week and see what my garden and flowers are doing.

So glad you are back with us, even if its for a little while. I missed waking up to your entries in the morning.  My mornings don't start quite so early up here.

Sadly I won't get to see my garden this summer. John planted quite a bit of stuff for me before we got called out of town.  But the I told the the lady next door to enjoy it while we are gone. Makes me feel better nothing going to waste.

Quite a few farmers markets around here. I guess I won't go without!

Hi sweetie!  How I have missed you and anticipated getting an entry from you to read!  Thrilled to see you are doing well.  I fully expected that you would be.  I can totally see you surrounded by children and loving it. Had to laugh at the bathroom comment, as I am every bit the stickler you are for mine as well.  I get on my hands and knees and scrub every conceivable surface, bleach the tub, etc. I am a neat freak for them. David, still a hopeless cook (smiling), at least he tries!

All is well here.  Tristan is getting married August 30th. My grandson comes in a little over 2 months now, and I cannot wait. Misty is looking for another job with more challenges and chances of promotion.  PT is doing great at work..really great!  My job is going fantastic right now.  I have never been happier.  My face is almost completely healed, except my eye still is not tearing up so it is is dry, and my nose doesn't wrinkle well yet.  in short time they will be fine.

Saw the folks in Califronia with the girls..it went great. I read your line of going into business with great interest.  I keep trying to tell Paul that is what we need to do in some form.  We'll just see what happens, i guess.  i miss you and what a great start to a rainy day to see you posted an entry.  It is like the sun just came out.

David is now the big 40, woo-hoo!  In the grown-ups world now.  That is what I tease John about, he is only 35!

I read about Sir Edmund Hillary passing in another persons diary. She also had many nice things to say!

You  are brown as a berry and I am as white as snow! LOL!  It is so cold out, when you walk out the door your boogers freeze in your nose!  Doesn't that sound lovely!

Hi doll!

Glad to hear your weather is so hot and nice. My Kiersten is enjoying Florida, she called me and told me she was by the pool.  It was colder than an all get out here in illinois. HAPPY 40, DAVID!!!! he's just a kid.  :) You should see our bathroom, all torn apart now!  Goodbye old tub.  We bought new wall tile, floor tile, nice ceramic tile, a new tub, new shower fixtures and new bathroom faucet for vanity..we cut out the drywall around the tub, pulled out the old tile..what a wreck, but will look good when doen, that's for sure.  Paul now has remodeling fever, he wants to start on the other bath as soon as this is done.  So right now, as the plumber does not come until next Saturday, my dining area is awash in tiles, new tub and drywall. Oh well, don't have to clean that area at least. I love CArrot cake, and I want some.  :)  love, K

That was a great entry! And the picture, wow!

I always read your diary in the early morning hours. Way before the sun comes up! I refuse to turn the lights on and ruin the darkness. However I always want to comment, then it takes me forever in the day to get back here to do it!

I used to be a night owl, sometimes still am. But there is nothing better than the peacefulness of the dawn. When I had my greenhouses that was my favorite time to go inside. The smell overwhelmed you, and the humidity that had built up overnight.

In the winter here, the dawn is the coldest time of the day. But always breathtaking!

How are things going on your side of the world? Hopefully David is still on the road to recovery.

I looked a these picures in the early dawn, now I'm back in daylight! What beautiful chidren! Easy to see where they get it from!

I never wore white to either wedding. Just couldn't picture myself in the frilly, white, stuff.

And there is nothing classier than the ultimate black, dress. Wish I looked good in black.....!

  hehehehe about David doing the same thing! Not that it's funny- but it is funny that we would have the same experience.

   I calmly told Wayne last night that I did NOT appreciate that- that is was controlling and abusive behavior.  His response was,' I thought you could live without it for a few hours."  I told him that was not the point.

  He came in the night before and peered over my shoulder to find me asking a diarist where her dad was..(I asked because she wrote about his being out of her life )- Wayne convinced himself that rather than spending time with him that I am online looking for men!

    I've prayed for God to heal him of his jealousy..there is NO basis for it- I am NOT online looking for men.  He fears that because before meeting him I had an online boyfriend. 

 Oh well, God can sort it all out!

  THANK YOU for the complement..thank YOU for sharing with me about David and how you handle it. 

 While, I erred - Wayne did speak to me in a manner that is unacceptable.  I would NEVER speak to him in that manner...You are right I need to stand my ground and say no to being treated as less than a daughter of God! 

 I think that God put it on your heart to see the situation clearly.  He pointed out so many of my errors at once! Complaining about everything. I should have told him that if he was so unahppy that I would move..I know that's not what he wants.  I told him that I think there should be a rule only one complaint at a time.

   No wonder I felt so sad yesterday...who wouldn't after an hour and halfs complaining and accusations!  Do to my illness, I really can't afford to be a part of that negativity.  I tried not to allow it to, but it effected me deeply!

  He even went as far as to take my computer wire when he went to work and slammed the door without a good bye!   I was really, really pissed about that. He brought it home at lunch and plugged it back in.  That was controlling and abusive.  I did as Christ commands- Prayed for those who would abuse me...forgave...But an apology and some ownership on his part would have been nice! 

     I guess I'd best calm down about it...Got myself in a tizzy over it again..you can believe that next time things will be handled differently on my part.

    I have become aware that I am allowing my desperation to have a relationship with Jess  and the fear of losing forever to play too big of a role in my heart, my mind, my life..I need to get over it! 

  You are right , I need to simplify.  I need to not allow myself to be taken an emotional hostage.

   My aunts council was close to yours...she said that I need to put taking care of myself first for the first time in my life. 

   You were right about Wayne...While I am glad that he shared his true feeling with me - He did it in a manner that was rude and disrespectful..I should not allow him to get away with that.  We teach people how they can treat us, don't we.

Trying to get caught up on entries!   Lots of slang words to remember! Too funny you wrote then all down!

I have started to get into NASCAR over here! J gives me reviews every weekend. Who is that driver, what is his car# etc....  I love football, he could care less. My Packers lost to the rival Bears last night. I am heartbroke!!!

  Thank YOU soooo much for your understanding and support concerning the dogs...There's NO WAY that I could care for 14 dogs! It was hard- but it had to be done .  I pray that they find good homes.

    I love K.I.S.S - I will remember that and apply it!

    Other than the dogs, I did have a good day today...Managed ot slow down a bit and wake up to the loving and precious moments in my life. Progress...I can tell that my moods have been far better today!

Beautiful, I had to catch myself as tear began to surface. I am not sure if God really hears the prayers of people like me and honestly I am not even sure as to how I am supposed to pray.

I've read that story before and I can tell you, it still leaves me in awe and touches the heart deeply. God really does work his wonders in people. It's such a humbling experience that is food for the hungry soul.

I hope all is going along well for you and David. I also wanted to say how much I cherished reading your entry on the birth of your daughter yesterday... being a mom of 3, you recall the experience as if it were yesterday.   I wasn't prepared for that ending..... Knowing how much our own children can cause us pain, has helped me to make sure I've told both of my own parents how much I love them and appreciate all they did for me. It's a hard lesson to learn, as I know I disappointed them often...
  Had to stop in and say thanks for your nice compliment...I'll take the one about smooth-talkin, but as for the good-lookin....I'll have to let Denise make that call... It has been a wonderful life with her, and I mean that with all my heart.  Oh my you gave me fish on the brain now! I read your entry on the whitebait fish, then last night the news did a story about asain carp. These carp are taking over a nearby river, they literally jump into the boat. When I went to sleep last night I dreamed these little whitebait fish had grown to the size of asain carp. They were jumping onto shore, hitting people in the head!

I forgot all about the dream until I reread your entry! Then it hit me!

I think I have gone off the deep-end.LOL

Anyways the recipe sounded like something I would like, if I had whitefish!
